Florida Panthers Season Ticket Holder Says He’ll Try the Sausage Next Time
SUNRISE, FL (Sportsman’s Daily Wire Service) Bryan Lepselter, 48, of nearby Plantation, Florida has had season tickets for Florida Panthers games for five years. He generally arrives 30-45 minutes before the puck drops, and either attends games with his wife, Lisa, or friend Larry Lerner. Among his favorite game time comestibles are chicken tenders and fries, popcorn, and hamburgers.
“Yeah, I go for the pretty standard stuff,” said Lepselter. “To be frank, the food in this joint runs between fairly ordinary to profoundly disappointing. If this was New York or Boston or Philly or Chicago, this shit wouldn’t fly, but people have trailer park expectations here, and I’ve admittedly had to dumb down my ordinarily sophisticated palate, for the dumpster dregs they call food here. That said, I have had my eye on the sausage sandwich with peppers and onions. If it tastes anywhere near as good as it smells, I’m in.”
Currently 5th in the Atlantic Division of the NHL”s Eastern Conference, some Panthers players are urging Lepselter to forgo the sausage. “I had sausage with spaghetti at the post game meal after Sunday’s loss to Nashville,” said Center, Dave Bolland. “And I had the trots ever since.”
