LA PAZ (Sportsman’s Daily Wire Service) Denouncing the United States’ refusal to drop charges against former New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez, Bolivia said it will grant asylum to the former All-Pro.

“He’s a fine athlete. I’m sure he’ll learn the nuances of fútbol.” said Bolivian President, Evo Morales. “Besides, who better to settle a score between enraged fans?”

Hernandez, was arrested in connection with multiple gun-related charges including three murders.

Hernandez has found it difficult to get to Bolivia, since his current place of residence is the Bristol County Jail.  (more…)

PHILADELPHIA (Sportsman’s Daily Wire Service) Carter Duncan loves football. From Pop Warner to the NFL, if there’s a game to watch, you can bet he’s watching. But now the Drexel University grad feels disillusioned. After inviting several friends including some of his Alpha Chi Rho fraternity brothers to his Pro Bowl party on Sunday, he came up almost completely empty.

“No one showed for the 55-41 offensive juggernaut except for Boner Sturgess and it fuckin’ blows,” said Duncan who shares an apartment with his roommate Tim Sasnowski on Shunk Street in South Philadelphia. “The response was the same across the board. They told me I’m nuts – they said no one holds Pro Bowl parties – that I couldn’t have picked a more meaningless event for a reason to get baked off my ass. Even my roommate blew it off. Then I could hear him laughing about it when he was on the phone with his girlfriend, Monica.”   (more…)
